We also explore the thinking of Marcus Aurelius and how we can understand his existence in contrast with Caligula and Nero.

    Dr. Fleming: Thank you for your first presentation on Seneca and Stoicism. I read volume I of his Moral Essays about 10 years ago and found them most interesting and am looking forward to Part II on Duty.
