Nice job, and well put together, but the Marcus and Cicero quotes may need a little more screen time for people read them, especially since they appear to hold much of the content of the video’s message. I find myself trying to work out the Ciceronian Latin and then wham! It’s English, and then I’m only able to get about half the English.

Of course, anyone whose interest is aroused by this video can just pause it and read the quotes, but then we also know how hard it is to hold the attention of the average FB viewer.

I agree with you basically, but the theory in doing it this way is that they will only take in the general impression. It is precisely because they have such a limited attention that Rex has blasted them with images.

    Smart folk read quickly!

…has a “the truth is out there, X Files” kinda spooky feel – how old is Rex to know of the garbage that was X-Files?! …golly gosh, my time spent watching X-Files would have been better spent learning how to tie different knots.

    Rex is probably your age.

Now I see. The quotes are not that important of themselves. It probably will spark the interest of the target audience.

The very beginning of the movie is a top-notch attention grabber and the entire production held my attention and curiosity. Great job and creativity!
