My wife and I saw Glen Campbell in concert roughly ten years ago right before he had to call it quits. He was phenomenal, played all the guitar licks to his most well known songs and could still sing very well. If you listen to say his cover of ” I Remember You “, while the overall arrangement leaves something to be desired, his singing is first class.
Those Downfall parodies are hysterical. I have never seen one with a voice over, but there are many with the subtitles replaced. Off the top of my head I remember one where PlayStation cancelled Hitler’s gaming account. Hilarious, but it sounds like the actual movie is worthwhile.
There are several downfall parodies wherein someone slips Hitler some ex-lax. The best one can no longer be found. It was hilarious.
I’d never heard of Pigmeat Markham before, although I’d heard the “Here Comes the Judge” without knowing the context. I’ve found some of his old albums online to listen to. One never knows what one will learn here on the Fleming Foundation.
