Excellent interview/lecture. The chronology was also a great help. Looking forward to the next and the next. This is the subject of our time and of our age. I am always amused by talk about “moving on” as if our very old world can be other than she is, or was, or will be. I could listen to these lectures every day for weeks. Looking forward to “staying put” for the old future features!!!!

I also greatly enjoyed this presentation. I am nearly through Gibbon’s first volume and this discussion added a great deal of color to the history.
