Its patriotic with a Christian twist. Its over the top. A nice July 4th ditty from a young man who knows me well and likes me anyway and he has a heart for the One True Hero, the Dread Champion. (Jer 20:11) Enjoy!
This is very good and illustrates why stories, accurate stories, need to be repeated and handed down to children and grandchildren. I bet there is not a “conservative “ or at least very few, who are probably making millions or at least thousands saving the country, church or world that could even repeat, let alone understand, this conversation. Yet it’s the necessary conversation before everything else because it’s as old as empires and as new as Afghanistan and Iraq —our Empires longest wars. Thank you to Rex for always framing the questions correctly and with vigor and for Tom for his gentle corrections. It’s a great combination as I have said for years.
So that is Rex doing the singing!
Which reminds me of what my father used to say when he heard me singing. “Can you carry a time? he would ask, and, when I replied, “Of course I can,” he responded with “Then carry it somewhere else.”
It is not me! Its my sister son,Micheal Corin. A song called American Prophecy that he wrote and recorded. He has taken the Rock and Roll mantle from me. This has a 80s rock ballad thing and his new stuff is really good. Find him on Facebook or google him for a listen. He has a country sound to him now. I may be a little biased but I think he is the best.
The Silver Fox was one of my father’s favorites. He was one of the greats of his time. I still like his music.
Looks like I posted in the wrong place. That’s what you get when toy have multiple tabs open.
Thank you Dr. Fleming
