In 1970, a year in office, President Nixon gave an address to the UN titled “A Generation of Peace.” With the Cold War hot in Vietnam and elsewhere, and American campuses and cities erupting in riots, it didn’t seem peace was at hand. Trump Summit: Why He Picked Singapore; and Driving Fake News Insane

I don’t think anyone else spotted why President Trump picked Singapore for his summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Any number of places could have been picked, in Asia or elsewhere. But here’s the key: Singapore, like North Korea, is run by a dynasty, the Lee family. Lee Kwan Yew operated Singapore as boss from after independence in 1965 until 1990.

GOP Goes Full Metal Trump Jacket

What’s noteworthy is how both GOP candidates are going over the top identifying with Trump and his issues, while demonizing the other guy as a tool of Pelosi. One Rohrabacher campaign flyer features pictures of him as a young speechwriter standing next to President Reagan; next to that is a picture of Trump. The words highlight three issues: “Leading the fight against illegal immigration….Working to end the unfair ‘Gas & Car Tax’…. Supporting President Trump.”

Now Dems Take a Bead on the First Amendment

Having spent a month machine-gunning the Second Amendment “right to keep and bear arms,” now the Democratic Party is taking a bead on the First Amendment right to “freedom of the press.” The Party is suing President Trump, Russia and Wikileaks over the bogus Russian interference in the 2016 election.
