I know it wasn’t that long ago that we were told it was going to be two weeks to flatten the curve, and perhaps the more pessimistic thought it would be two months, but I can’t imagine anyone speculating it would be two years before travel resumed as it was before March 2020. But here we are….
As I write, in the background on my computer plays YouTube with Judge Bruce Schroeder giving the jury its final instructions in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Wisconsin. If we still had the rule of law in America, the trial never would have occurred and the prosecutors would be in the clink for prosecutorial misconduct.
The Biden Administration has been running into roadblocks from federal judges and state governors who reject his sweeping program of compulsory vaccination. Is there a case that can be made for requiring federal government employees to be vaccinated?
Virginia! Oh Virginia! How far thou have fallen and are desecrated!
That is how I felt as I watched Southerners celebrating the election results in Virginia. Has the state that produced Robert E. Lee and “Stonewall” Jackson gone so far under the spell of multiculturalism that Virginians can fall for politicians who attack Southern traditions and Southern monuments.
I’ve been on many a television or movie set in studios and on location and can say from my experience that when guns are present the prop master, armorer, directors, and actors are on high alert.
The foreign policy crowd is in a tizzy over China threatening Taiwan. If Beijing invades, should we go to war to defend Taipei? I don’t think a war is going to happen.
